Tools are provided “as is”
All 282 tools on Sejdaa are supplied “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. That includes any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy. We do not promise that a tool will produce a specific result, that it will work on every file, or that it will be available without interruption. We test our tools, but PDF, image and Office formats are complicated, and files that break the rules of a format can produce unexpected output.
We also do not promise that the site will be error-free or that it will always be reachable. The service is free, and it is maintained by a small team.
Your files stay on your device, so keep your own copy
This is the most important point on this page, so we will state it plainly.
Every tool on Sejdaa runs client-side in your browser using JavaScript, WebAssembly and the Canvas API. Your files are not uploaded to our server. They are not stored by us. They are read from your device, processed in memory inside your browser, and handed back to you as a download.
That design is good for privacy. It also means we keep no lasting copy of your file: the 282 browser-based tools never send it to us, and the 44 office conversions delete the upload the moment they finish. If a conversion goes wrong, if a merge drops a page, if you close the tab before downloading the result, or if a compressed image looks wrong, we cannot recover anything for you, because the browser-based tools never gave us a copy and the office conversions delete the upload the moment they finish. There is nothing on our side to recover. We strongly recommend that you keep your original files, and that you work on copies of anything valuable. Save the output under a new name until you have checked it.
Independence and no affiliation
Sejdaa is an independent website published at sejdaa.net. Our name is spelled with a double A: Sejdaa.
Sejdaa is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to any other website, product or company with a similar name. Any similarity between our name and the name of any other service is coincidental, and no relationship is claimed or implied. We chose our own name for our own site, and we make no claim over anyone else’s.
No professional advice
Nothing on this website is legal, financial, medical, tax or other professional advice. Tool output is not a substitute for review by a qualified professional. Guides on our blog describe how to use the tools and how common file formats behave. They are written by our team for general information only.
Conversions can change things. A PDF-to-Word conversion may shift spacing, tables or fonts. Image compression may remove detail. OCR may misread text. Office format conversions may move styles. These are normal properties of file conversion, not faults unique to us. Always open the finished file and check it before you rely on it, submit it, sign it or send it to someone else.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of Sejdaa is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this website or its tools. That includes data loss, loss of a file, corruption of a file, formatting changes, lost time, lost profit, and any indirect or consequential loss, whether the claim arises in contract, tort or otherwise.
You are responsible for the files you select and process. By using a tool, you confirm that you have the legal right to process that file: that you own it, that you have permission from the owner, or that the law otherwise allows you to work with it. Do not use Sejdaa to handle material you have no right to handle, and do not use it for anything unlawful.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions of liability. Where that is the case, the exclusions above apply only to the extent the law permits.
